REVIEW | Pediped Grip n Go Shoes

Pediped is one of our sponsors for  Mom’s Night Out Arizona on April 29, but I was not personally compensated for this post. I was given a pair of Grip n Go shoes for the purpose of review, and all opinions in this post are mine alone.

When you have a boy, you don’t necessarily get the array of cute clothes and shoes, not like you see for all the girls.  I’ve had a hard time finding cute and comfortable shoes for my son, especially when his foot was wide.  His cute little chubby feet did not like being in shoes, as I’m sure some of you can relate and we still don’t enforce it all the time.  If we forget to take those shoes and socks off before we get in the car, he makes a fuss until you help him take them off.

His feet grow so fast that we buy him one or two pairs of shoes and sandals and that’s it, until his foot grows again.  So, when Pediped asked if they could send us a pair of shoes (Grip n Go Jake in Navy, shown below $48)  to try out and a $100 gift card to giveaway at our Mom’s Night Out this Monday, I said absolutely!

RS_JakeNavy_RS610It’s hard to buy shoes online because you never know how they will fit but I was able to use the chart Pediped had on their website and found his size but went a little bigger.  Pediped shoes come with an insert that you can slip into the shoes, which makes them slightly smaller.  So I got the next size up because I knew the insert would help make them a snug fit.  Once your child’s feet grow a little more you just take the insert out for more room.  Shoes that grow with your child’s feet, that’s what I’m talking about.

Since getting these shoes, Kellan has had no complaints and he looks so cute in them.  I can tell that they are made to last and have held up to his very active toddler duties on the playground and off.  It’s nice to know that when you’re going to spend some cash on a pair of shoes that they’re going to last and they’re going to grow with your child.  Had Pediped not sent me a pair to try out, I wouldn’t have known about them and I’m glad I get to share this brand with all of you!

As you can imagine, they have the most darling shoes for girls (see the photo below) – seriously, go look at their website and you can thank me later.  Want to get some pretty amazing specials, promotions and info on new products?  You can sign up to pedipedbecome a Pediped Insider here.  And if you love Pediped as much as I do, check out Brian James Footwear, www.brianjamesfootwear.com, the new women’s footwear line from Angela Edgeworth, the founder of pediped.
