Are you looking for something to jump-start the Holiday Season for you and your kids? Christian Youth Theater of Phoenix is giving away a Family 4-Pack of tickets to a toe-tapping musical that will get your whole family in the Christmas spirit with a mixture of holiday music and rollicking humor.
We’re supposed to “love thy neighbor,” but what if your neighbors are the Herdmans? In this small town, the Herdman Kids are five of the meanest kids you’ve ever met! They terrorize each other and any other kid who gets in their way. The one place where the other kids in town are safe from the Herdmans is church–someplace the Herdmans would never go. That is until they show up to be cast in the annual Christmas Pageant.
This is the setting for “The Best Christmas Pageant EVER,” based on the novel by Barbara Robinson. What happens when five kids who have never heard the Christmas Story are suddenly the stars of the pageant? The answer is a hilarious, surprising, and completely heartwarming story of how one special child coming into the world can change the hearts of others–even the Herdmans.

I loved that book as a teenager but have never seen the play. Hopefully this is my chance!
