My husband and I are pretty big home-bodies, except when it comes to live theater. One of our very first dates was to the Phoenix Symphony New Year’s performance and we love a great musical (when we can get a baby sitter). So, when we heard that STOMP was coming to ASU Gammage December 28-31 we booked a sitter immediately! And I’m thrilled to get a date night with the hubs AND get to experience something amazing!
Ever since STOMP came over the the US in 1995 from London, I have been itching to go! Yes, I was in High School when it made its original debut, but I know it has been well worth the wait to see it performed at ASU Gammage.
If you aren’t familiar with STOMP, think the best percussion performance you’ve ever heard.felt.seen. ever! It’s best heard/seen rather than written about, so here’s a little clip to wet your whistle to why I’m so excited to be going this year:

Thank you for the opportunity…My husband and I went to New York 3 years ago to celebrate our anniversary and one of the shows we saw was STOMP. It will be great if we can go again.
I’ve actually never been to a theater to watch any sort of play but sounds like it would be an awesome date night. This sounds like a lot of fun

I’ve seen Stomp on Broadway and at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. My partner has seen Stomp in Vegas. But we haven’t seen it together, or in this state. I’d really love to surprise him with tickets.

I loved my experience as a music major in college playing the violin in the “pit” for operas and musicals. We also had a family tradition since I was 5 years old going to see the Nutcracker Ballet every year around Christmas. My husband is totally into it as well, so this would be a great date night!

Oh I just love watching stuff like that!!! I always watch stomp or blue man group on the TV but to be able to see them live it would be so amazing!!
And plus this would be an amazing early Christmas present!!!!
My husband performed in a Stomp like show in college. Would love to see this live and know he’d love it as well! That and another date night!
Matt and I would LOVE to see this!! We just saw Blue Man Group and…I have no words.
It was super entertaining, I just have no way of describing what it was about.
I got to see Stomp in Las Vegas many years ago with my mom and it was amazing! I was in the band in high school and loved performing with all the drums & percussion so this is so fun for me. What a great Christmas present this would be!
I love any live theater. I was wowed by Les Miserables when I was 12 and have seen over 2 dozen shows since then. Stomp is still on my to see list and I’d love the chance to go!
I will never forget the first time I saw My Fair Lady in Fort Worth, Texas ~ live. I think I held my breath the entire time!

I have always loved getting to go see plays! My grandparents would take me as a Christmas gift each year when I was younger!
I have been dieing to see STOMP! for ages. I was on the drumline in High school and so I love percussion. We did a big performance of Riverdance using only percussion. The drummers emulated the sound of the dancers feet, it was so cool! This would be amazing to go and see!

My family is huge on theatre! Stomp has always been on our list of ones we haven’t seen but have always wanted to see! My favorite is still probably Les Misrables or Circ de soliel!

I was pretty amazed when seeing Wicked the first time… felt like a little kid. And Les Mis blows my mind every time. What is not to love about the theatre?
We love theatre and STOMP is a great one. I have to say that Wicked is a life changer, too!
