Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, the “green” movement is probably something you’re fairly familiar with. You may even practice a green-lifestyle. I know personally when I’m looking to buy something I always gravitate towards the organic food or even organic cotton clothing over the non-green options. A couple weeks back we were introduced to a local company – Tiny Tater Tees – at the Scottsdale Farmer’s Market. Tiny Tater Tees signature prints are made using real potatoes (yes – you read that right – potatoes!). They are hand carved, painted and used as a stamp. Pretty cool, huh?!
“Potato printing has been around a long time” is the quote that started it all. Owner, Tracy van Ravensway started to make the prints for her two small children.
